EMDR Cards for Energy Connection Game

The EMDR cards are designed to extend the value of the Energy Connection game for those therapists who are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

The cards encourage children who have been traumatized and/or who have more significant symptoms or problems to develop positive resources as well as releasing their uncomfortable feelings.

Note: Level 1 training in EMDR is required before the cards will be sold to the therapist.

Feeling Faces Poster

The Feeling Faces poster was inspired as a creative "check in" to help children express their feelings.

A suction cup ball accompanies the feeling poster. The Poster can easily be hung on a wall or door allowing the child to stand 5 to 10 feet away from it. When the ball is thrown and lands in one of the boxes, the child may describe a time they felt that feeling.

If the ball lands outside of a feeling box, have the child pick any feeling from the chart they would like to talk about. Other creative ways of using this poster/game are encouraged!

The Ups and Downs of Feelings Boardgame

The Ups and Downs of Feelings boardgame is a new game available to help children talk about their feelings.

Starting at Go follow the spiral path to the sun! If you land on a positive feeling face, describe a time you felt that feeling and follow the arrow up a level. When you land on a negative feeling face, follow the arrow down. When you talk about a time you felt that feeling and then do one of the 4 correction techniques listed on the back, you follow the arrow back up to the face where you started. The 4 correction strategies listed on the back of the game board include; the Butterfly Hug, Negative Feeling Eraser Method, Karate Chop with Affirmation and a Stress Release Exercise. A dice and 4 pawns are included with this feelings communication game.
